Beachside Cabana Events and Mini-Trade Show Among the most popular marketing and networking venues at the CSPA Annual Meeting, the beachside cabana mini-trade show and hospitality events continue to prove their added value to member companies. Not least among the cabana events’ most inviting feature is the relaxed setting by the ocean, a natural draw that swells attendance and enhances companies’ visibility among customers, colleagues and competitors. The cabana events are part of CSPA’s 95th Annual Meeting, which be held Dec. 7 to 11 at the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Members are encouraged to host a cabana to be an active participant in these activities: Happy Hour, Sunday, Dec. 7, 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. – The cabanas will provide the setting for this popular opening event. Members who are renting cabanas are urged to send invitations to their registered customers and potential customers to capitalize on Happy Hour hospitality. Suppliers Night Business-to-Business Reception, Monday, Dec. 8 – This consistently well-attended event also will be held at the cabanas. No-Conflict Lunch Hours: “If it’s Lunchtime, It’s Cabana Time” – Attendees can expect to hear this invitation to enjoy lunch during conflict-free hours, from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, to allow time for a leisurely visit at the cabanas and a close look at host companies’ latest goods and services. Cabanas are available for rent to all registered CSPA companies. Cabana rentals cost $175.00 daily and will be billed to the company representative’s room at the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort. A Marriott staffer will contact the representative directly to take food and refreshment orders, which also will be billed to the room. A map of the cabanas, a cabana reservation form, and detailed meeting and registration information are available at http://www.cspa.org/public/annual.
