Eight More Companies Join CSPA, Bringing Total to 15 New Members at End of Third Quarter

As the third quarter of 2009 drew to a close, CSPA added eight companies to its roster, which joined the seven members that came on board in March this year.  They are:

Prestige Brands, located in Irvington, NY, is a distributor and marketer of consumer products in the over-the-counter healthcare, household and personal care categories.

The Scotts Company, based in Marysville, OH, is the world's largest marketer of branded consumer lawn and garden products, with a full range of products for professional horticulture as well.

Future Tools, with headquarters in Pataskala, OH, is a manufacturer of hand and edge tools for a wide variety of needs.

Chemical Connection Company, based in Houston, TX, provides companies with quality chemicals and guarantees timely deliveries.

Milliken & Company, located in Spartanburg, SC, is one of the world’s largest privately held textile and chemical manufacturers, is widely acknowledged as an international leader in research technology, innovation and customer service.  

PURE Bioscience, headquartered in El Cajon, CA, develops and markets technology-based bioscience products that provide non-toxic solutions to numerous global health challenges.

Candle-lite, located in Cincinnati, OH, has been manufacturing fine candles for more than 160 years in America’s heartland.  Candle-lite shares the concern and commitment of today's green and natural consumer in minimizing the environmental impact of the products offered in the marketplace.

Sergeant’s Pet Care Products, based in Omaha, NE, is one of America’s oldest and most respected manufacturers and marketers of pet supplies. A brand icon for more than 100 years, Sergeant’s has earned the trust of pet lovers and is now one of the most widely recognized brand names in the pet supplies industry. 

The following companies joined CSPA earlier this year:

Givaudan Fragrances of Teaneck, NJ, is one of the most respected companies in the fragrance and flavor industry. Its rich heritage dates back to 1796, making it the first company to establish itself as a creator of tastes and scents.

Chase Products Co., based in Broadview, IL, provides a wide range of aerosol household products, paints, insecticides, automotive, bench, craft, and personal care products. The company responds to needs of businesses that want to buy any of its proven brands of spray products, or are looking for a company to manufacture their private label aerosol products.

Lehan Chemical Brokerage Services, LLC, located in Scottville, VA, is one of the country's most experienced, premier off-specification chemical marketing firms. Since 1967, LCBS has serviced the chemical industry in developing long-term markets for by-product generations.

Loyalty Chemicals of Irvine, CA, is a specialty chemical distribution house that has been meeting customer needs since the company was founded in 1991. 

Trac Microbiology, which has its headquarters in Madison, WI, focuses on testing, research, auditing and consulting.  Personalized service paired with accurate and timely results are the hallmarks of the company’s pledge to each client.

Amrep, located in Marrietta, GA, is a specialty chemical formulator and packager with a firm reputation as a leader with innovative, high performance products. Advanced Skin Technologies, Inc., headquartered in Bernville, PA, is a manufacturer of soap, detergents, toilet and other chemical preparations.
